You could have: Both CMV and EBV viruses can cause mononucleosis. With no evidence of active disease, EBV is more likely. The bad news is that the aches and fatigue can last several months. The treatment is just supportive. If you notice swollen and tender lymph nodes (most commonly in the neck), you should go back and see your phuysician
