A member asked:

Blood test for pregnancy came positive is it 100% accurate? will i actually see a baby in the ultrasound? is it possible nothing will there too?

Pretty accurate: Those pregnancy tests are very accurate. They detect elevated levels of hormone that indicate pregnancy. It is possible to have a positive test when in fact you're not pregnant, but the causes of that are very rare, such as hormone secreting tumors. In nearly every circumstance, there will be something there on the ultrasound.
