Each takes about 20 : Each scan would be a separate procedure each scan takes approximately 20 min to perform most shoulder MRI s are not performed with contrast.

No: An MRI with contrast (arthrogram) typically involves at least an hour for the placement of the contrast and the MRI study. The studies could be done sequentially but as patients are typically a bit sore from the injection we recommend not doing both shoulders the same day.
