Full Thickness Tear: Full Thickness Tear, also called a complete tear, splits the soft tissue into two pieces. In many cases, tendons tear off where they attach to the head of the humerus. In majority of tears an element of trauma is superimposed on an already chronic degenerative musculotendinous junction. In a full-thickness tear, there is basically a hole in the tendon.
