Reasonable: It probably will come back negative but it's reasonable to consider adrenal insufficiency with am cortisol of 8. Typically i would repeat the cortisol with acth before going through the Cortrosyn stim test but your doctor knows you and your history best and probably has a good reason to make the recommendation above.
