How is fibrosis of the lungs treated?

Depends: There are different types of fibrosis. Idiopathic fibrosis or ipf has no fda approved meds at present. A new drud is been use at present in clinical trials & n acetyl cysteine been used in europe ( ia a cheap & natural medicine). Other types depend on the primary cause. Usually steroids in combinationn with cytotoxic agenmts & now monoclonal druga are very succesful.
