Yes,by irritation.: Cinnomon is a spice. Too much of anything is good for nothing- a proverb is there. The ground spice can irritate the stomach lining , can precipitate acidpeptic disease-irritating esophagus(food pipe), stomach, duodnum(1st part of small intestine) -the 3 parts of gastrointestinal system affected commonly by acid peptic disease. Also as a spice, when in excess it can irritate the rest of intestines
