Yes: Dm both types can cause peripheral neuropathy as well as peripheral vascular disease causing narrowing of vessels. Hence get examined by your doctor for intact peripheral pulsations, intact foot sensations and have annual foot examas without fail, if peripheral vascular disease is suspected you may need a doppler scan for arteris of legs .Your doc. Will decide based on exaamination findings.
