Yes: Blood clotting in vessels isn't good anywhere in the body. If a clot occurs in the retina or optic nerve, you may be left with permanent vision loss and even blindness. See you ophthalmologist right away and see what is making this happen!

Can be: An occasional nontraumatic subconjunctival hemorrhage in a older person is typically ok, but blood clots in the retinal or choroidal circulatory system can cause visual problems and be a sign of systemic health issues.
