My friend is 65 with psa of 5, antibiotics didn't lower. he had a biopsy= negative. he takes testosterone shots now for 3 yrs. is this a good idea?

Psa velocity : If psa stable with a negative biopsy good sign. Testosterone may increase the growth of an unknown pre existing cancer but does not, on its own, cause prostate cancer. As long as psa is stable over time, it's probably ok to continue use.
