Post operative prostatectomy hormone treatment ( Gleason 9) has resulted in a weakening of memory recall. Last injection was more than a year ago. How do I rebuild testosterone levels and memory recall without risk of an increase in PSA / cancer?
PSA level 3.9 in March 2023. Up from 2.26 in December and 1.6 in September. Was on testosterone replacement for the last 3 years. Stopped after 2.26 number. No symptoms. GP did DRE and found no nodules, prostate was enlarged.Referred to Urologist. ??
Does saw palmetto have any impact on PSA levels? Does it cause gynecomastia in men? Does it lower DHT or impact free testosterone?
My friend is 65 with psa of 5, antibiotics didn't lower. He had a biopsy= negative. He takes testosterone shots now for 3 yrs. Is this a good idea?
