Not sure: Coyld be an extra tooth. Could also be a split or dual crown, and is called gemination. It is a twin crown with a single root. The diagnosis is made by x-ray. Could also be tooth fusion, in which case there are two roots and crowns fused together. Space management as teeth exchange to the permanent dentition is to be watched carefully.

Yes: Normally we all get four incisors and toe cuspids. 2 years old is old enough to see the dentist to cextra teethonfirm this.

Possibly: May be an extra (supernumerary) tooth or a dual (geminated) tooth. If your child has already seen a Dentist, take him/her back for a reexamination. If he/she has not seen a Dentist, he/she's a year overdue. Schedule an appointment preferably with a specialist Pedodontist, a dento-facial growth and development expert.
