Atypical bacteria?: Mycoplasma, ureaplasma, and chlamydia are examples of bacterial infections of urine that are not visible on urine exams and do not grow on conventional cultures. They are called atypical bacteria collectively. If Azithromycin course, that normally works, does not help, you may need a urologist eval since a cystoscope can visualize if ulcers or other abnormalities are present inside the bladder.
