I'm currently 12.5 weeks pregnant with my 2nd uti. i'm finishing my progestrone supp which are the culprit. doc prescribed macrobid again- is this safe?

Safe: Macrobid is consider to be safe to use during most of pregnancy, but it is not recommended beyond the 36 week of gestation. A urine culture should be done. If you are having recurrent problems ask your OB about surveillance urinalysis and prophylaxis with antibiotics. Good luck.
