Allergies or virus: "sinus" problems in children are often the result of viral upper respiratory infections. If there are persistent positive findings of chronic sinusitis, then allergies, structural anomalies and immune disorders need to be ruled out. This is accomplished by pediatric ENT specialist. If the child is robust and has no other problems, then is likely a minor issue.
