Hi bp rx: Lisinopril inhibits vasoconstriction, protects the heart and kidneys and arteries. It can elevate potassium. Spironolactone reduces sodium retention. It is gentle. It can elevate potassium, too. Be careful with potassium foods. Have blood testing every few weeks. Monitor your bp yourself. This combo has risks with potassium and risk relates to dose and diet.
