Don't push: A healthy child eats what he needs, even if not all at one meal. Urging a child to eat gives him great control; meals should be relaxed, at the table, with adults modeling healthy eating & conversing @ anything but what/ how much he's eating. A tbsp. Of each food/year of age is plenty. When a meal is over, calmly state that food/ juice/ milk will be offered again @ the next meal & follow through.
