Hard to change genes: The only treatment that has scientific evidence of disease modification in ige mediated allergy is allergy immunotherapy, subcutaneous and possibly sublingual. There are recent studies with oral desensitization for peanut and egg. Sometimes allergy symptoms clear with age. Medications just modify symptoms. Consider seeing a board certified allergist.
