Areobic activity is: Jogging is only one form of aerobic exercise. It can be hard on the body and swimming, bike , speed walking can accomplish same goal without phsical pounding.

Yes: Any aerobic activity is good for you, jogging included. So are non weight- bearing exercises such as cycling or swimming.
