As a concerned parent i need to know how long for alcohol to leave system?

Depends: A healthy average person will metabolize about 1/2 ounce of alcohol per hour. So the speed of clearance depends on how much was taken in; the size of the person, the health of their liver and medications that may interefere with metabolism. So roughly about two hours for each drink consumed.
