What can help foot pain from the ankle right above the arch of foot?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

This would : Depend on the etiology. Sometimes, people have bone spurs tot he dorsum of the midfoot, sometimes, people have tendonitis in this location, there is the possibility of nerve entrapment. Ice could help, relief of pressure on the area (no tight shoes) and if simple range of motion hurts, immobilizing the foot. Anti-inflammatories can be tried. If pain persists get an in office evaluation.
