You Got it.: It sounds like you have a good idea of just what the contributing factors are. If you activities are going to be limited and less time on hard surfaces are in the future, then the problem should resolve. But, if the activity is more or less of a more permanent nature, you will have to get a great pair of shoes. I have found that KEEN UTILITY oxfords are just what the doctor ordered.

Arch pain: Walking on hard surfaces are responsible for arch and heel pain. Get into supportive sneakers with an arch support inside. Sounds like Posterior Tibial tedinitis. You can look it up and see if it applies to you.
