Yes: Any type of imperfection on the vocal cords will limit vocal cord vibration. This will cause hoarseness. Classic vocal cord nodules can be treated with speech therapy. If your voice doesn't improve and this affects your quality of life/job performance, you will need to have a frank discussion with your ENT to determine if surgery is the next correct step.
