Only with treatment: Gerd can produce high reflex and cause a lump feeling in your throat. Proper treatment with what are called hydrogen ion blockers (prilosec, nexium) can inhibit acid production and improve your symptoms. See your physician for this treatment. The symptom is classical for high reflux, now commonly called LPR or laryngeal-pharyngeal reflux.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
