A member asked:

White patches at my throat but no pain.i consult a doctor and he gave me antibiotic for infection.but still patches r present there.what could be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Seeing white or: Yellow foci in the back of your throat is usually on/in your tonsil...They usually are meaningless in terms of disease, representing normally functioning tonsils. These can be dislodged by your tongue, and a small pit is seen where the "white patch" was.
