Not in my opinion: Invisalign does not move teeth through bone; it tips and tilts. Many orthodontists will put their patients in bands the last couple of months to be sure the occlusion (the way teeth come together) is perfect. Invisalign is generally more costly as there is a lab fee involved. See more than one orthodontist to get an opinion on your case.

Invisalign is better: Invisalign is better than braces. Its easy to wear, and is removed for eating and brushing/flossing. In the majority of cases invisalign can straighten the teeth just as good as braces, with out the discomfort.

Invisalign vs braces: This answer is subjective. Invisalign has some benefits that braces do not like the ability to maintain good hygiene as the trays are removable. Invisalign may not treat a bad bite as through as fixed braces in some cases. Every case is different, so one type of treatment is not necessarily better than the other.

Depends: On what you mean by better. More effective-- no. Faster-- no. A more pleasing way to straighten teeth for some people, especially adults who do not want to be seen with metal in their mouths?-- yes. Talk to your orthodontist about the pros and cons of each and chose what is best for you.

In some instances: In general, invisalign and braces are two treatment modalities that each have their respective advantages and disadvantages. Depending upon the case, one modality may be definitively better than the other. In cases with anterior open bite requiring back tooth intrusion, invisalign has been shown to be the treatment of choice assuming full patient cooperation. Ask your dental professional.

No: Braces can do things that Invisalign can't do. Invisalign can be used to treat many of the same problems as braces. Invisalign does make it much easier to floss your teeth

There r Pros & Cons: Pros of Invisalign treatment vs. regular braces: Ease of use, less discomfort, oral hygiene friendly, clear. Cons: usually takes longer to get same results, there are limitations in what can be done with Invisalign vs. regular braces, results depend on patient compliance, its removable so trays can get lost, break or not worn. You be the judge :)
