Depends: Which technique is better depends on the problems to correct. The invisalign product has become quite efficient today with sophisticate designed attachments and power ridges and can predictably move teeth appropriately with much more distinct control than fixed braces. Root torque and bodily movements of teeth are today predictable with invisalign.

Your choice: Traditional braces are cheaper, faster and more effective. So why do people choose invisalign? Aesthetics.

Braces/stain: Numerous articles in well refereed dental journals comparing results obtained by trained Orthodontists with both types of appliances to American Board of Ortho standards. Braces better than 90% correction, clear aligners average less than 50% correction. And this is in the hands of trained specialists. Numbers drop off when Rx done by semi-trained non-speciaists.
