Other causes?: Nausea is a symptom (unpleasant), can be due to things other than gut, e.g. Hormonal, gyn, ent/inner ear/sinus, central nervous system, abnormal chemistries, etc. Think outside the gastrointestinal box (and so should your docs).

Citrus/Ginger: Remedies other than traditional medicines include foods, pressure points and some vitamins. Ginger has been shown to aid in the relief of nausea as has both the taste and aroma of citrus fruits. Wrist bands used for sea sickness and accupuncture have also provided relief for some. Last, 25 mg of vitamin B6 taken 3-4 times a day may help with nausea and vomiting as well.

Yes: The suppository may be better adsorbed than the oral form, since the pill can again be thrown up immediately after ingestion. Pressing on the inner wrist acupuncture point master of the heart 6 can also provide almost instant relief from nausea related to morning sickness.
