Doing this: (?): Prop the head of you bed up on 6 inch blocks (don't use pillows under your head -makes gerd worse). Eat small frequent meals. Don't eat within 4 hours of bedtime. Use a ppi (like nexium) twice a day regularly till you're better. Supplement with a liquid antacid if necessary, like mylanta. If your sx don't respond, consider a nissen fundoplication (surgery).

At your age?: You need to see a GI doctor to scope you upper GI to rule out the presence of barrett's esophagus, eosinophilic esophagitis, large hiatal hernia etc. It is unusual to see so much symptoms from gerd at your age.
