Cesarean section?: Breech presentation at term is best managed with prelabor cesarean section unless your obstetrician thinks that an external cephalic version is likely to be successful, or your fetus decides to turn head down on its own. Paraplacenta is not very rare but carries risks for vasa previa (require cesarean section to avoid fetal exsanguination in labor) and postpartum hemorrhage from retained placenta.
