Yes: Not being able to breath suggests fluid around the lung, bronchial obstruction or parenchmal lung abnormality. With chest pain, the pleura is involved. A chest xray as initial imaging test can possibly resolve the question. Other causes from heart, mediastinum, chest wall etc need to be ruled out.
