I get bad chest tightness/pains at the end of a night out (drunk) i have to lie down and take deep breaths for 1/2 an hour so it goes- what is this?

Lots of stuff: Could be a heart attack, could be gastritis from drinking too much. We don't know your age or anything else so it is impossible to say. You should speak with your doctor. In the meantime take some pepcid and stop drinking.

Chest pain: Chest discomfort is a symptom which must be taken seriously. Even if there is only a small chance the symptom represents a serious problem, you don't want to wait until something bad happens to find out it was your heart. The right thing to do with chest pain is to see a doctor.
