Blood work, risk mod: The significance of this finding depends on your current age. This finding in someone under 40 should result in a more involved examination of lipid profile, vital signs, diet, smoking exposure and exercise patterns. This finding in someone age 60+ is probably not that unusual in the usa. Follow up testing is probably best done with non-invasive vascular laboratory testing rather than an mri.
