Methadone: Some psychiatric side-effects reported are mood changes, agitation, hallucinations, memory problems, nervousness & insomnia. To my recollection, no OCD was reported.

Unusual: In fact it is generally thought that opioids, if anything decrease symptoms of ocd. There is one case report I am aware of with an increase in OCD symptoms in a patient being tapered from methadone. Also reports of intensification in OCD symptoms on patients treated with naloxone, a drug that blocks opiate receptors.
