Get help.: Hoarding can be a very difficult symptom to treat. Many people who hoard are so emotionally and psychologically attached to their "stuff" that even the thought of throwing something away can cause internal terror and panic. While medications and behavioral treatments can be helpful It is important to also address some of the underlying root causes. A good psychologist can help.
