Pancreas enzyme levels are all back to normal after bout with pancreatitis. so why am I still having such severe pain,nausea etc?
Help: is it called pancreatitis if I have no pain but elevated liver and pancreas enzymes? (Above 3x normal limit) Or do you need pain to have pancreatitis?
If I had pancreatitis (no pain bloodwork just showed high pancreas enzymes) caused by a bad case of gastroenteritis, do I now have to worry about it coming back when I go drinking with friends or something? Or no because the infection caused it?
Ive had pancreatic enzymes checked a few times over the years. Lipase has never been elevated but amylase fluctuates. Ive had it as high as 300. Ive also had it just above the range and normal as well. Never pancreatitis. Could be cancer ???
