If i had pancreatitis (no pain bloodwork just showed high pancreas enzymes) caused by a bad case of gastroenteritis, do i now have to worry about it coming back when i go drinking with friends or something? or no because the infection caused it?

In the general practice of medicine the majority of cases of recurrent pancreatitis that we see are related to alcohol intake. I caution you to permanently abstain from drinking alcohol.
