A member asked:

29 weeks pregnant- feel intermittent quivers in abdomen- not hiccups or hicks. uterine spasms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe Braxton-Hicks: Also known as false-labor practice contractions which can start very early in pregnacy but typically not felt until late second or early third trimester. They should be infrequent, irregular, brief 1-2 min, and only mild cramping. Make sure u keep well hydrated. If contractions are regular, forceful/crampy, please consult doc asap as it could be pre-term labor. Congrats and best of luck to you.
