It is a range: Resting hr should be around 60-100 range, could be slower during sleep. With activities hr can go up much higher, to about 180-190 range, but not sustainable at this rate for long. The more cardiovascularly fit a person is, the slower resting heart rate--long distance runner/bikers are examples of common slow-heart rate folks. If you are concerned, consult doc. Good luck.
