IT IS QUITE POSSIBLE: You bled from an internal hemorrhoid. If it was bright red blood, it is coming from the very end of your bowel. There is a network of veins internally and externally. Any irritation, hard stools, lots of straining might have triggered a vein there to leak a small amount of blood. If it becomes painful and continues to bleed, you need to see a doctor for an exam please.
