Need eval asap: Bleeding from the rectum is never normal. Could be something common like internal hemorrhoids or something more serious, so best to get eval asap. Best wishes.

As long: As bleeding stopped you can wait a day to see the gi doctor. If the bleeding is not stopping then go to the Er asap
