Probably.: It takes a while (perhaps a few months) before the newly-grown connective tissue filling the wound has a chance to mature, but it eventually will, allowing the lump in the lip to resolve. This assumes that there is no embedded foreign matter in your lip, and you don't develop a mucous retention cyst, which is an occasional complication of lip wounds.

Maybe or Maybe Not: If the cut was bad enough, when it heals there will be a scar tissue or a knot. If you really want a confirmed anwser, going to see your dentist would be best. The doctor can look at the knot and tell you if its a scare tissue or something else.
