Yes not at same time: Cephalexin sometimes causes stomach irritation, so some food at dosage time is ok, and Tums (calcium carbonate) or rolaids or any antacid are ok to use while on the antibiotic- but best not to take at the same time as absorption can be affected as the stomach may be coated with the antacid. Also gastric emptying could be slowed causing disruption in the absorption of the cephalexin.
