A member asked:

How do people feel when they have allergies to dairy and glutamate ? is it bad for them to eat milk and bread anyways ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Milk & wheat allergy: Glutamate is a salt, gluten is a wheat protein... Since you ask about eating bread, i assume you are asking about gluten enteropathy, not monosodium glutamate(msg). Gluten sensitivity is not an allergy; people make iga; milk allergy involves ige, as does wheat allergy. People with these often have stomache aches, diarrhea, bloating; sometimes wt loss, vomiting, non-gi symptoms. Avoidance helps.
