A member asked:

Is there a permanent solution for intercostal neuralgia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Neuralgia: Treatment depends on the cause of the neuralgia. Consider seeing a neurologist to evaluate the underlying cause. If it is shingles, there are some medications which can significantly dampen the pain. If it is a spine lesion compressing that root, treatment will depend on the nature of the lesion.
