Still a low dose.: Most of my patients in my rheumatology practice who are adults with arthritis, myositis, or other disease responsive to mtx, my doses are typically 15-25mg given by subcutaneous injection weekly. This dose would give GI upset to people taking the same oral dose! I have children usually taking 10-15mg weekly. I have no one on that low a dose. Biggest complaint: women who experience hair loss.
