Time: It is not uncommon after being ill with major surgery & extensive antibiotics to get tired easoly & have a lack of appetite. Also some antibiotics, especially flagyl, can cause a bad taste in the mouth & make food taste badly. Time for healing & getting off antibiotics will help. Have your doctor look for oral thrush, irritated tongue, at your next visit too.

It will pass: This can happen randomly after many types of operations within the abdomen. Make sure you stay well hydrated an hang in there. May take several weeks to get back to normal. Also try some yogurt to repopulate normal GI bacteria.
