Bone infection: Gangrene!!!! Questionable, infected bone probable if the infection is left for a long time. There is two ways of treating and infected bone, long term (6-8) weeks of IV antibiotics, or removal of infected bone. If you have the infection for over a month (or more), request your doctor to take an x-ray to make sure you don't have a bone infection. Otherwise very simple to heal.
