Gallbladder had gangrene and ruptured during surgery. bile duct was cut in half and is draining bile, has to stay in for 3 months. what is the outlook?

Bile duct injury : It sounds like you had a very hostile gallbladder but to this point things have been repaired and that you have a t-tube in place. That tube help strain the bile and people helps prevent stricture. Overall the outlook is good and it is rare for people to have major complications or long-term effects after surgery in which the ball that was repaired. Routine follow-up as recommended by your surgeon will however be important to make sure that any problem that arises is attended to a timely fashion.
