Math equation: Start with a program called lose it! (internet). Plug in age, sex, weight to see how many calories you need per day and follow the plan to maintain or exceed your allowed calories to gain weight. If you are still losing wt, the problem is that you are burning too many calories (eg, thyroid proble, etc.) or not absorbing (malabsorption from the gut, etc.). In that case, see internist to start.
